Weekly Update #15

Hey Everyone!

3 Updated projects & 1 new WIP this week, let's gooooo!

• 0:00 - Blue Moon: This is the final instrumental version of Blue Moon (EDM Guitar Song). I'm really happy with how this turned out and I'm contemplating getting vocals for this. It does need a final mix and master but I'll wait until I get vocals (or decide on releasing it as an instrumental) Big thanks to the Creative Crew & Executive Producers for helping me on this!
• 3:17 - September: This is the song that you voted for me to finish from May. I went back forth on this one and ended up changing a lot. With the original song, I felt like everything was too simple and a bit too cheesy. So I slowed down the rhythm of the chords and added extensions (7ths, 9ths, and 11ths) to expand upon the feel of the track. I also scrapped the old drop melody and after a few tries came up with this, which I really like. Overall, I want this song to give off that nostalgic feel of remember summer that you get in September when the seasons are changing and fall is approaching -- I'm really happy with where this one is at!
• 6:40 - Endeavor: Pretty happy with where this one is at. I need to spend some more time with the build sections (the 2 4 bar areas before the drop) to smooth that out and revisit the drop percussion as well. This one will definitely be an instrumental release and I'm super happy with how this concept turned out. All that's left is to finish this one - hoping to have that for you next week. 
• 9:42 - Starlight: This is a VERY rough wip I wrote. It's just a basic idea right now with a cool guitar riff, chords, and vocal melody (the piano). I don't know what type of song this would be and I'm not sure I'd even pursue finishing this but it was a pretty cool idea that I had. Might revisit it next month when I have some time.

The Creative Crew & Executive Producers have really been pushing me to finish songs I normally wouldn't have. In fact, last Sunday we worked on including a Didgeridoo in Endeavor and there's also a trombone sample hidden in Blue Moon haha.

Excited to finish these up! I'll be posting WIP Poll/DLs early next week for you all :)
