Weekly Update #14

Hey everyone!

2 updated works in progress for you this week. One is basically finished and the other is about halfway! 

Also, I wanted to say thank you to ALL of you. I've had some really positive feedback on More of Your Love and without Patreon (that's you!) I don't think I would have pushed myself to finish that project. It's not too far away from what I normally write but just enough so that I'd probably have archived the project and never returned. I learned a good amount and had fun trying a lot of different things on that song. So ... yeah - thanks!

• 0:00 - Guitar EDM/Blue Moon: Speaking of outside of my comfort zone, this is the untitled EDM Guitar track you all voted for me to finish from April. It's tentatively titled Blue Moon for now, but I'd like to get someone to write vocals for this so that's probably going to change. It's mostly done and although this was a tough one to figure out how to exactly finish, I'm really happy with it!
• 3:15 - Big Slow Thang: This was previously titled Endeavor and was in Weekly Update #12. I wanted to finish the arrangement and basic sound design. This whole project is an experiment to write in my intense/big room style (like Not This Time, Cairo, Keystone) at a slower bpm (112, to be exact). I'm really having fun with the different types of rhythms at a slower tempo while still keeping it dancy. This one needs a fair amount of work on the drums, lots of mixing and some extra layers here and there. Especially the build and transition needs a ton of work, but I'm really loving where this is at.

I'm definitely finishing these 2 next week and in fact I'll be with the Executive Producers and Creative Crew on Sunday working together to fine tune them.

I'll have a new WIP to show you next week along with the WIP Poll/DL for June, but I'm also striving to finish a lot of the WIPs I have from previous months - I'd like to get you an update on "September," the song you voted for me to finish from May. That's my main focus for the rest of this month!
