Weekly Update #13

This week I've got 3 new WIPs to show you:
- 0:00 - Trains: Started as just a chord progression and I wanted to develop this into something chill and progressive. I focused a lot on letting the bass carry this and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
- 1:50 - Tents: Started at 80bpm on this idea. I've been trying out a lot of new ideas on drums and I like how the bass and drums interact on this track during the verse. The drop is pretty cool and very full - I really like how the melody carries you there. Not sure I'll finish this one, but I really like the original idea here.
- 3:53 - ArpThing: This was one I found in my old WIPs and I believe it started as a stream track. I really liked the arp and chords when I found this one again and I messed around a bit in the project this week. While I like a fair amount of the stuff in here (the Electric Piano is pretty cool), I think I'd restart from scratch with the few things I like because a lot of the sounds are really basic in here. Plus a proper bassline would be nice!

I can't wait for Tents. Could see maybe some little bass fills in some parts (that may just be me tho). Loving the progression though!
