Weekly Update #10

Hey Everyone!

I'm currently overseas, but I've still got a few WIPs to show you! I pulled some older projects out to mess around w/ on the plane and the 2 new WIPs are a result of that - not the best quality though, because planes suck haha!

• 0:00 - More of Your Love (Vocal Version is 1st half & Instrumental Version is 2nd half): I've made a lot of adjustments to More of Your Love based on feedback from the Executive Producers and Creative Crew. Pretty happy with how the vocal bits sound now. I've also mixed and mastered the track. It's basically done and when I get back next week I'll be submitting for release after I make any small adjustments.

A quick note: I am considering releasing an instrumental of this track (Myth) - either here on Patreon or just on Bandcamp or something. Personally, I feel like the instrumental is too empty to exist on its own (hence why I looked to add the vocal), but I could use your feedback on this so let me know!

• 3:15 - Hip Hop Thing: This is an older project that had a pop/hip hop vibe. I really like the chords here so I redid some of the drums on the plane and added an arrangement. This was fun to work on for a bit, but I think if I come back to it I'll probably just lift the chords, start over, and move into a different genre.
• 5:35 - September: This is a cool chord idea I had awhile back. I did a typical drop/verse idea and added some simple percussion in this version. It's decent and I might continue it but the sound design here is pretty lacking. So we'll see!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to re-record the vocals for Circle Back before I left, so that's going to have to wait until I get back. But that's on the release schedule for July, I think :)
