2 updated WIPs to show you and 1 new thing this week!
- 0:00 - Antigua: I finished this one and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm going to be searching for a vocalist on this one. It still needs a few FX layers and a proper mix/master but I'm waiting until vocals for all of that.
- 3:17 - Myth: This was one of the tracks you all voted for me to finish from the month of March. I spent a lot of time debating the lead synth from the previous version. I don't typically do a simple saw synth lead on many of my tracks and I really liked that aspect of the old version but I felt like the main element of this song really was the bass and I should let that shine a bit more. Went with a future house-ish vibe and kept the lead more in the background and the bass up front. Originally I wanted vocals for this, but right now I'm leaning towards releasing this as an instrumental in May and adding a vocal phrase or something.
- 6:30 - Another Lofi thing: I spent some time this week messing around with more lofi. This is actually an older song of mine, can you recognize which one? I spent most of my time in this project reharmonizing the chords with jazz extensions and adding extra melodies. So it's very simple atm. The drums need a lot of work and overall this needs a lot more love before finishing. What do you think of Lofi versions of older songs?
I'm going to try and finish Run Free next week and probably some new ideas as well. As always thanks so much for your support.
