I've done a lot of commissions lately, and there are some I haven't shared with you.
I also share the sketches.
Here's an interesting fact I'd like to share about my sketches. When I'm drawing for myself, the sketches tend to be more chaotic, with lots of lines and reference diagrams, sometimes even leaving things undrawn, like the background. Often, I ink the background directly.
But when it's a sketch for a client, it's very clean and as precise as possible, without leaving out any details. That's because the client needs to clearly see what the final result will look like. I can't expect everyone to understand the jumble of lines that make up my sketches.
