Who is Who: Planeswalkers

Beings hailing from another reality. Do not confuse with Magic: The Gathering own version. Planeswalkers, as the term is understood in Rhea, don’t necessarily have the ability to travel between planes (dimensions) by themselves. Often they require concerted efforts in specifically tuned rituals, sufficiently advanced technology and/or great sources of energy to succeed.
‘Plane’ is a wide term, and can only be defined as the space that can be reached without breaking the physical continuity. Thus, the Nine Hells are considered planes, and any demon outside is technically a planeswalker. The same happens with the Heavens, and even pocket dimensions of small size, like the dark cocoon Rosier retreated to after her defeat.
Parallel dimensions who only vary slightly for the current one are a touchy subject. Careful fine-tuning is required to even monitor this close-by realities, in a process that could be compared with observing microscopic activity. In an oversimplified metaphor, they are so close it’s hard to tell them apart, thus making nigh-impossible to travel freely between them.
Planeswalkers can easily be confused with Outsiders (a term that also includes beings who reached Rhea without breaching the physical continuity), especially since Rhea is an isolated world, having close to zero exchange with the outside.
