WIP: Eve

hello!  this is eevee.

some things happened.

glip is...  currently finding it quite difficult and painful to share work with sexual themes directly with a semi-unknown audience.  hence the recent silence.  they just have not done very many adult illustrations in some time.

so i think it makes sense to repurpose this patreon to show the work we're actually doing, which has been shifting towards adult vns and other games.  cherry kisses came out pretty well and we'd both like to collaborate on more little story games like that.

so these are some super basic screenshots from our current little vn, "eve".  (i say "little" but it's already longer than cherry kisses holy moly.)  it's about eve and cat, two girlfriends who are trying to have a good time.  but stuff keeps going just a little bit wrong.  dang.

the illustrations are all these little comic panels and it is really cool.  it's like you get a bunch of illustrations on screen at once.  it's like the tv from back to the future part 2, except if every channel showed a butt.

ok i admit i don't quite know what i oughta be doing here.  it always seems really weird to post much of anything from a story-heavy game, because...  the whole game consists of reading the story, so if i post much of anything at all, you've already played part of it?  and doesn't that ruin at least a little bit of the experience?  like now you've already seen cat's butt!  i've ruined the cat's butt reveal for everyone!

i have this same problem with puzzle games, too.  but these are the two genres i like to make!  argh!

i'm also too busy making games to play any, so i don't even know what the usual approach is for adult game patreons.  i'll just have to wing it and see what happens.  so look forward to like, some more screenshots every so often.  and maybe further explanation of what the game is about and some of the thought process going into it — i am pretty okay at rambling.  we've probably got a bunch of other stuff lying around too that's interesting, like sketches and concept art and older character designs and cutting-room-floor stuff and screenshots of when i completely fucked up ren'py.

i don't know what we should do with the tiers yet??  like i don't think "vote on a pinup theme" quite makes sense here.  will have to figure that out later
