Alexios and the Minotaur

A real hero needs a real quest! Alexios will ride the bull - I mean the Minotaur.
This artwork will be finished for your next Artpacks and the Minotaur will have red hair to reflect Spartian armor. The helmets have a red decoration on top. I add an example below.
To be honest I would be grateful to know what this decoration is called. Maybe one of you can tell me? :)
And I hope, that you'll enjoy this sketch as much as I do.

As far as I know horses did not exist in America originally. They were (trading) gifts from European settlers to the Natives. Considering the exotic colours of several birds in America the usage of feathers makes sense, too.

That's interesting. I have some brushes for traditional oil painting and they are also made of horsehair. It seems to be suitable for elegant and solid usage.
