I just realized after uploading that my explanation on the sulfuric acid azeotrope is actually wrong and i need to go back and fix it, so this won't be the final version. So i have time to make any other improvements if you guys want. Let me know what you think, I hope to upload the final version on sunday.

Mmm, yeah. I fixed up a damaged one and went looking for an external probe for it, they wanted more than $100 for a basic one. Made my own but it turns out their PID for it is absurdly conservative and they do not let you adjust it so I hate them now. As if someone is going to buy a 550C hotplate and never use it for distillation with an oil bath, trash company don't buy.
