I really wanted to do this one for a minute so here ya go.
One thing I noticed about Biscits basses while doing this, is that you're NOT gonna get the full sound out of just Serum. You need a good balance of post processing on the high frequencies to get it right, let me try to explain.
Biscits bass selection is awesome because it's actually very simple. He likes those very classic sounding house basses. They're sounds that you aren't going to get a lot out of in plain. The oscillators needed to generate them just won't produce that full texture. The oscillators are very classic, basic, and he's getting the absolute most out of them.
My go-to is to use some multiband saturation and hit those high frequencies with some tape. Mix it in parallel, but leave the lower part of the signal pretty clean.
He also definitely does a lot of layering. I think any of his basses with signal that crosses over 800hz or so are pretty much layered with a sub, so that he could get the most out of that high frequency processing.
