AI Shoujo evaluation

As some of you may know the next illusion game will be AI Shoujo (Oct.25) which follows the graphical design of Hones Select and Play Home instead of the more anime like Koikatsu.

A publicly available demo (character editor) is available for AI  Shoujo which i checked out in hopes of it being good and modifiable, so here are my thoughts so far:

• Modding is definitely possible as you can see from the attached image
• Head replacement seems possible and similar to HS (was the main issue with Home Play)
• Base body shape is different compared to HS base body, so clothes will not be compatible outright from HS, but they can be ported with some work.
• Still no collision calculations for clothes, however the skirt bone structure has been improved somewhat and should result in a bit less clipping.
• All clothes present (in the demo) are swimsuit style (no body included with the outfit)
• Item IDs and item group numbers are gone, i do not know if this is for the demo only. However this could raise problems for compatibility with multiple modders adding items.
• List files contain reference to localization, so and english version was most likely planned from the start.
• Outfit pieces can have up to 3 separate "Materials" (color/pattern) but this is achieved with texture masks and not proper multi material support. (good feature, somewhat bad implementation) This results in blurred borders between the separate colors.

All in all, this game likes like a somewhat refined and advanced version of HS. As only the character editor is available the actual content and animations of the game cannot be judged yet. The game will release in about two weeks, once that is done and the base mods are available (uncensor, GGmod, ItemIDs if needed) i will start looking into working with the new game. Ideally, if the game is good, modding is possible and so forth, at first new mods would be released for both HS and AIs if there is demand.
