Yes the trauma bonding is so real, and the actors convey the complexity of that relationship so beautifully. I remember being impressed upon reading the books after first seeing the films, as the script really weaves in the necessary elements in a way that doesn’t leave one feeling shortchanged. Also, your take on the mutated dogs killed me lol. If you haven’t seen Talladega Nights, Google the end credit bit about wild dogs 🤣
