November 2023 Final Releases and Important Announcement

Hi Gang!

All files for Orcanicus Engineer and Sneaky Brain Bugs are supported and can be downloaded here. As usual, we will share them with you on MMF as soon as possible.

Now about upcoming releases and changes to our usual lineups.

I feel like I need to address this personally so let me introduce myself, I'm Adrian, and I'm responsible for all the design work and the vast majority of the sculpting in Puppetswar.

The model I set for myself to work simultaneously on three different armies on a monthly basis, providing each faction release with a proper volume and quality pushed me to my limits lately and I feel that it needs to be changed.

All those release lines are my great passion and I did everything I could to continue this model of work but I'm at a point where I do not feel able to deliver my vision on time and if I do not change my approach I will eventually not meet the deadline or create figures that I will not be proud of.

The only solution to this problem I see now is to stop committing to all three factions each month. I feel that by staying with two I will be able to get back on track with the release timeframe and build space for creating more exciting projects like vehicles or bigger monsters that I would love to jump into but are impossible for me to tackle in the current state of things. Hopefully, in the future, I will also be able to expand my artistic team and release models that will be in line with my vision and expectations faster but now I need to rely mostly on myself.

Considering all of the above, in December I decided to release a few designs from our resin range that I think will be a nice refresher for you guys and most importantly will allow me to catch some breath. Releases I put here should be ready to share with you guys with a minimal amount of work required on my part or will allow me to sculpt something different than usual. So next month you can expect:

Barghest Fiends
Winged Strikers in four styles: Demonic, Angelic, Bushi and Regular
Orc Engineer in Buster Armour equipped with Teleport Device and Force Generator (I had too much fun making the first engineer and I do not want to stop with this theme yet).

About January and further releases. The way I see it now I will be committing to only two factions each month, making three maybe once in a while. About the choice of factions and their release schedule, whether I should take a break from one of them for some time or rotate all three or some mix of both solutions, I’m still not decided yet. I will gladly hear what you think about all of this.
