Venom chan blues, thoughts on the olympics and covid, and thinking about loneliness here
Added 2021-07-22 06:15:03 +0000 UTCI do actually talk about idols in this one, somewhere in the middle of my rant about the Olympics and before the loneliness talks. Plus I make a plea to all of you.
Seriously, support Venom chan and Kunogi. It's something that I think is necessary for their future. Thank you.

Hey Derek, Japan did much to make the olympics possible… Okay. Most measurements made no sense at all except to make people get more grey hair. But hey. They finally started. The games will soon be over again And then hopefully they find a stable way how to deal with Covid in long terms. (Yeah i know… too optimistic. But hope dies last.) Regarding Venom-chan: A few months ago i was so excited to see Kunogi founding a new idol group. Back then i was a big fan of her and Michelle at Necroma. Her leaving was a big loss for me. Especially because she paused idol a while. The more i was happy she came back with an all new group. Thanks to the fact they often play in venues that stream their shows i even already can watch them on a regular basis. Their songs are great and it´s a pleasure to watch them. The only issue so far, they more or less were still unreachable for getting merch. But that´s finally over. I am so glad they now work with you together. Also i´m glad Okinawa Saya finds more international fans. She is an unique gem in the idol world. And it´s cool the management is very flexible and fast. The next month will be so much stuff you have. Your Birthday show. Mihos Cheki session, not forgetting their debut and new CDs. This will really be big. And last but not least: You asked for Horror Movies. One of my favourites always were the first four Hellraiser movies. They took Horror to a new concept back then. Stuff Clive Barker wrote in general does. The Candyman movie also was insanely good. But the masters of Horror in General… George Romero, John Carpenter, Tobe Hooper … i could talk days about their Work. For Japanese Horror i started with the Ring Movies, followed by The Grudge. And from them basically any movie i could grab. Audition was an example where the movie completely made me forget the cover which made me buy it. It lured me 90 Minutes into a love story and the final 30 minutes hit me like a fist. Miikes best work. One Movie i also love is Sion Sonos „Tag“. If you had those nights, where you had a nightmare… woke up and instantly slipped into the next one… and again. That movie captured that feeling. Have a great week.
