We have another episode of Star Trek TOS today. Today's episode is For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky. This was such a big episode for McCoy! First, he's dying, then he finds love! I'm so happy we got to see him happy, even if it was for one episode!
I can't wait for you guys to tell me what you think of this one!

OMG!! I had to go back to The Cage!! While watching this episode, I kept wondering (in my head) where I knew the actor from! My mind thanks you for this! 💛🤣

2024-02-15 20:03:28 +0000 UTC"we can't lose McCoy! What about the movies?" Yup,and (for me) that's the problem with this episode. We know he isn't going to die. Still, it's nice to see McCoy (for a change ) ,and not Kirk, being romanced by a beautiful female alien. :) I'm sure this script looked good on paper; but I think it's telling that this was only my second ever viewing of this episode. It doesn't usually feature in my TOS re-watching. Trivia: the old man who dies after saying "the world is hollow etc" was played by the same actor who played the elderly survivor of the crashed spaceship in The Cage (and also The Menagerie).
