Bleach TYBW Part 3 EP 12 FL

Comments

hahahah now that you mention it...

At this point, I think you can go back and check the poem of Bazz-B (Jugo's poem might be better understood in next episode). Bazz-B's poem: "Bullat, Claw, Battle Flag, Short Sword. With my fingers bent, I wait for you." Each element in the poem corresponds sequentially to his Burner Finger 1-5. With each finger he added, a memory is inserted, so this poem actually constitutes their complete memories. The last Burning Full Fingers contains his inseparable emotion and obsession with Jugo, but this arm was cut off by Jugo's sword. Some people think that Bazz's actions are still based on hatred for Yhwach, but I think his hatred has long been replaced by his obsession with Jugo. He actually didn't do well before as a friend and Jugo even did worse in some points because of his bad experience, so both of them felt betrayed due to a misplaced cognition, but never had the chance to communicate normally. So I think Bazz doesn't really care about revenge on Youha in this situation, nor does he care about failure or death. He just wanted to seek an answer, which Jugo didn't give him at last, but at dying moment he seemed to realize that what he cared about was not the self-esteem destroyed by Yhwach, not whether he was still superior to Jugo, he just wanted Jugo to face him, and even didn't realize in thousand years that he just wanted to have a good talk with his friends again.

The third point I want to discuss is schrift. Through the back story of Bazz and Jugo in this episode, we can actually be more certain that the schrift of each Sternritter can indeed reflect their personality and experience.Because the essence of schrift is that Yhwach distributes more powerful power by directly engraving "letters" bearing abilities into the souls of others. Like Äs Nödt, he was tortured by illness and feared death, so he got the "F" for fear. Also like Cang Du's "I" for the invulnerable "Iron", but there is a scar on his mouth. So Bazz-B's flame ability, in addition to his fiery personality, originated from the blue flame that Yhwach used to massacre his clan. The flame became his shade, engraved in his soul, and thus became his weapon. In addition, regarding Jugram's abilities, I can't go into too much detail yet to avoid spoilers. However, from the previous scene where he executed the defeated, it's evident that his power relies on a scale that can transfer luck and misfortune. This already reflects to the back story when his and Bazz's fortunes and statuses are reversed.

First of all, I saw someone already mentioned Kubo's design for their schrift. The schrifts they got were each based on the first letters of the other's name. "H" for Bazz came from Haschwalth, and the "B" for Haschwalth came from Bazz-B. Also, we can find that B and H are located at the opposite ends of the title "BLEACH," with A (Yhwach) in the middle, such a very sad and ironic image😢 Secondly, regarding the parallel relationship between Ichigo-Uryuu and Bazz-Jugo that you noticed, Kubo not only designed their birthdays to correspond, but also embedded an Easter egg in their names. Ichigo and Buzz B both have "Black" in their last name. Buzzard Black and Kurosaki (Kuro is black in Japanese). Kubo likes to use some Kanji with the same or opposite meanings in the names of characters to reflect their relationship or someting deeper. For example, the names of Kyoraku and Ukitake also have deep meaning in the literal sense. I would be happy to talk about this another time if you are interested.

As a manga reader, I actually get new insights everytime I rewatch the Friend Saga, because, as you mentioned, the complex relationship between Jugo and Bazz is truly worthy of an in-depth discussion. Their relationship has indeed been a subject of much debate among readers, often leading to some rather immature arguments such as "who is to blame" or "who is the selfish one", etc. Combining your complete reaction and your views on YouTube and some comments, I would like to make some additions to the design of the relationship between Jugo and Bazz.

I saw you updated the discussion on YouTube! Thank you so much for recording several times to express these points. Many of them are accurate, and I think you'll gradually get answers in the upcoming episodes. I really enjoy your reaction!(´;ω;`)

I don’t think we can be certain Pernida actually had a physical form 1000 years ago. Might have taken the quincy’s a very long time to give it that. Gerald I’m not sure if we actually know how long he has been a part of the sternritter, though with his look and everything it would make sense that he was an OG. How Lille, Jugram and Bazz-B survived is what we don’t know, but as his other half Yhwach might have made sure Jugram did survive and put him in charge of organizing the retreat to the shadow realm should the invasion fail.

Dragon Puncher

Just kidding man..I know you are ready. Only replying to you because I've seen you on other bleach reactions 🙂

Socal

Yo bro. Cour 4 is gonna kick a lot of ass. I hope you are ready for it haha

Socal

The quincy are human but I guess it's ok to count them as their own race to because their genetics are pass down though generations that would differ them from normal humans. It's not the same as fullbringers where their mothers where attacked by hollows to give them their powers. So that's a outside force granted them powers. While with the quincy it's just heritage

Ichigoat

It does make you wonder where the current Schutzstaffel was during the first war because we know Yhwach had Pernida before the war because of episode 24 and didn't use him for whatever reason. Where was Lille and Gérard and when did Lille receive his power. Was never explained in the manga

Ichigoat

Argola, Hubert, Zieldritz in this episode were the original Schutzstaffel (Yuha's royal guard before the sternritter). They were briefly manifested in Yamamoto's bankai (minus the gun girl) to attack fake Yuha. The town that was burnt down was Bazz's clan during Yuha's conquest to conquer numerous lands. This is over a thousand years ago before the first soul society invasion. That's why everything looks medieval. Yuha also had his almighty before Ichibe sealed it away using Pernida (left arm of the soul king) during their meeting.

Bleach Expert

It's especially apparent now but Yhwa really feels like a vampire to me. This mysterious old dude, with a long black cape, king of a medieval country, who somehow lived 200 years, has blood power and drinks the life force of others to be immortal ... And then Jugram even looks like Castlevania Alucard

Wio

Yeah from what we can get, the only reason Jugram agreed to pursue and kill Yhwach was just because he wanted to support Bazz

Wio

i a way yuhabaha save jugram wen he atk the clan beacause jugram was abused by his oncle rewatch jugram arms on the forest. but in a same way he destroy all family of bazz. So i think both live this genocide differently. my second point is a lot of the quincy comander on this flash back was in yamamoto minami's bankai.

Sanosuke

Yes Quincy are Humans with Yhwatch powers, and yes next week for the Finale we are getting 2 episodes
