Despite not actually progressing the plot this is such a brilliant episode that really ties so many things together that we've seen throughout the season. Like Patty telling Kevin that there was a time she told Laurie everything, and her going #2 in a paper bag and leaving it at her ex's doorstep. Kevin having visions of a deer and one getting into his kitchen. Kevin finding a folded picture of Tommy's mom and biological father in Tommy's room and Laurie writing to him as she was serving him divorce papers that he loved Tommy like he was his own. Why Nora wouldn't replace the paper towels on her stand and what eventually caused Laurie to snap and join the Guilty Remnant. Probably a lot more that I can't think for right now...
