We are back with another Star Trek TOS episode. This week we are watching Shore Leave. Although this episode was a bit slower paced, I enjoyed seeing our crew have a bit of fun. As crazy as it was!

I would totally agree with this. It's nice to watch once. But it doesn't really drive any story.

2023-07-13 01:08:00 +0000 UTCYeahhh....I've been diligently watching along with your reactions up to this point; but Shore Leave was a major stumbling block for me. It's not that's particularly poor,but I find it all very obvious from about 5 minutes in. Roddenberry was reportedly unhappy with the story,but had been on (a much deserved!) holiday, and this story had sort of slipped through. It's entertaining once...but I chose to skip this one (and what is TOS' fixation with having an Irish character being very annoying..?!)
