Henry Ian Cusick is brilliant as Desmond. He also played a major role in The 100, and he was definately the most talented actor on that show.

Finally caught up, Penny a real one. I just realized that out of all the main cast pairings, Penny and Bernard are the only two not lying to their partner the entire time. Sayid and Shannon could have counted, Rose isn't lying anymore but she still was for a while. Doesn't matter how Kate/Jack/Sawyer plays out they all lying to each other as easily as breathing.

Something most don't think about but I always want to point it out - the editing in this episode was amazing.... Also the character development throughout the show - to feel that much emotion for Desmond and Penny - two characters we basically met in the season 2 finale - side pieces to the main group.

Really fantastic episode. Once again things shift, Desmond episodes are truly revolutionary. I remember when this aired for months after my roommate and I when anyone asked us What we were doing we would respond with "I'm calling my bloody Constant." No matter what the context. Also, did you catch what Penny's dad was bidding on in the auction? You might want to go back and look at that.

In fire and water, Charlie recieved visions from the island telling him he had to save the baby. The end of season 3 Charlie gives his life to save Aaron because Desmond was receiving visions from the island. Seems relevant nah?

For most of the fans this episode is considered as the best episode of the entire show. For me it is undoubtedly among my top 5, what a masterpiece. PS: The soundtrack is beautiful, Michael Giacchino is the best, I cry every fucking time at the end.
