Great opening for the season! If you like the direction the show is heading (and it seems like you do!), you’re in for an amazing ride. You haven’t seen anything yet!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS !!! You are completely right, Lee !!! I never thought about that, but this is true !!!! The title does not say which man of faith it was talking about !!! The man of science, we know, this is an easy one (it's Charlie, of course ! 😄😄😄😄 No, I was joking ... It's Jack, of course) but there are two men of faith !!!

The title is not "Man of science, man of God" but "Man of science, man of faith" ... This is not exactly the same as talking about a deity refers to a religion, but 'faith' has got much more meanings than the only religious one
And yes : this about the man of science (who is Jack Shepard) and the man of faith (who is John Locke)
The word you were looking for was 'dichotomy', isn't it ?
I know there is matter of time and then you cannot do such a thing, but that's a bit difficult to hear you commenting above the dialogues of the show, without pausing the episode, to play it after

In season one as Jack was returning from finding water/the caves, he finds the group about to beat the crap out of Boone (for stealing the remaining water). He stops them and mentions how they need to come together as a group. He says "if we cant live together...we're gonna die alone." Kate was paraphrasing Jack's speech here.
