2022-12-26 15:51:56 +0000 UTCSorry I’m so late watching. My first time seeing the movie. You were very patient with Max. I didn’t like the first half, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Why did Max put all his energies into running school clubs and not his school work? His motivation is not very clear. Now I think it must be because his mother died when he was so young. He wanted/needed the adoration his mother would have given him. A favorite scene of mine is with Margaret at the field with her airplane. Her science project was fake she said. She thought it would work, but it didn’t, so she made it up. Max realized that was what he was doing with his life. So impactful.
