Game Patch Today!

I have a few new downloads nearly ready, but I'm waiting to check them out after the patch today before releasing them.
The Lounge Entertainer freelance career is nearly ready for preview, finally. I added another Music Festival for high level entertainers, The Newcrest Jazz Festival. This is in addition to Burning Sim in Oasis Springs.
I have another one that I worked on for most of my vacation over July 4th. It adds a way to research a sim's genealogy and look for family origins, notable ancestors, discover distant cousins, and more. Need a little more time on that, but the features work and I'm adding more content (ancestor stories and portraits).
Finally, I was about to do a public release of Better Bars and Liquor Stores when I learned that the new Horse pack will have nectar making too. So I'm holding off releasing that until I can see if it's compatible with the patch, then I'll open it up for wider release.

So far, looks like Explore from Mine Crafting, as well as the Magazine Kit have problems with the patch. The Archaeology Kit might be throwing an exception due to some code that's in there but is not used right now (it's a half-finished relic). This is all due to the mis-spelling correction on EA's part.

2023-07-18 17:39:26 +0000 UTCOh, no. Getting this second hand from another modder, as I'm still waiting for the patch to finish downloading. It looks like they decided to fix some spelling errors in their tuning, wtf. WHY? For years and years, there was an 'aventure_moment' tag. There were even memes about it. It appears that they've fixed the spelling to 'adventure_moment'. Anyway, that will affect the Explore interactions in the Mine Crafting mod, and probably some others (these are used for Likes/Dislikes, too, so they are pretty widespread).
