Great

Video consumer 02

They had a poll a while back asking what show they should review next, so something is coming!

Jen

Will The Delta Flyers be going on hiatus due to the SAG-AFTRA strike?

Deborah Moltisanti

There sure is a lot of writer amnesia on this show, unfortunately. Somehow they forgot that fans do actually remember stuff....

A couple things really bug me about the episode. For one, HOW DOES TOM KNOW THAT ALIEN WOMAN IS PREGNANT IF THEY'VE NEVER SEEN THAT SPECIES BEFORE??????????? And also, when the baby is born, how does he know it's a boy?????? Like, we're supposed to believe that this pilot who is barely a field medic is suddenly an expert on exobiology of completely unknown species? Sure, I can suspend disbelief for a lot of sci-fi but that part is a real stretch. Also, why didn't they send the doc to the planet from the get-go, alone, even, if he's immune to that kind of radiation? I'm guessing because they had a lot of doctor episodes and they needed something for Tom to do, but if they had sent the doc that would've made a whole heck of a lot more sense. And I love Tom so it's nice to see him have a little character development and all, it's just that there are plot holes you could pilot a starship through.

Elisabeth Westner

Right????? One of the maaaaaaany reasons to hate Endgame, sigh.

Elisabeth Westner

Agreed! I wish there was more Sam, or in fact ANY Sam, in the last season.

Elisabeth Westner

So the writers suddenly remember that Carey exists, and about Tallax from season 1, but forget that there's another Borg on board :P

John

In addition to Carey, Samantha Wildman also only appears in flashbacks. Naomi roams the ship like an orphan. I think the writers forgot Samantha actually didn't die in "Once Upon a Time".

Elias Nordling

Poor Lt Carey! In the end, Janeway went back in time to shorten the journey and prevent a lot of the suffering and deaths that Voyager suffered. But she couldn't be bothered to go back to a few weeks earlier so Carey could have been saved too.

Elias Nordling

What, neither of you chose Carey as your loser?? Or, you know, Josh Clark?

Elisabeth Westner

As we're nearing the end, and as a lowly but long time 'ensign' I'm wondering if you've considered approaching cast or maybe even producing a continuing podcast on DS9/TNG? Asking for a friend ; - )
