Leveling Up to 5: Feats

Scribe Scroll - scrolls are cheap, one use magic items that allow someone that is already a spellcaster to cast a spell without expending a spell slot. It won’t drastically expand Curtis’s options, but it will allow him to save spell slots on days where he can’t waste his magic on utility.
Silent Spell 1/day - allows Curtis to suppress all verbal components on a spell once per day for free, or more if he’s willing to spend a higher level spell slot. With his solid sleight of hand, this will allow him to mostly conceal his casting at clutch moments.
Reach Spell at-will - there are many spells that require touching someone to use. With this, Emrys will instead be able to fire them as a short range ray. He still won’t be sniping people, but he will be able to hit someone from across a modestly sized room.
Craft Construct: the greedy option, or rather the expensive one. Allows Emrys to construct magic items that are themselves creatures. Most will be mindless automatons, and usually they won’t be worth much in a fight unless he pays through the nose. That said, the potential power ceiling is similar to his summoning.
Spider Form- Allows Curtis to, at will, turn himself into a human sized spider. This costs 1 spell point for about 5 minutes, or autopilot’s total focus. This will boost his AC and movement speed, allow him to run on vertical surfaces, give him a venomous bite, and allow Curtis to create webs. Alas, any silk or venom he creates while transformed will vanish when he reverts.
