Shae

They are some of the more pleasant individuals one might run into on the Plane of Shadow, in that they merely think of mortals as lesser beings instead of, say, raw materials.
They wear masks and clothes as a form of self expression, since without them their forms are hazy and indistinct silhouettes. They sometimes enjoy forming cults of personality among mortals, trading away trifling secrets of shadow magic in return for praise, treasure, and service.
