They are about four feet of flab, muscle, and claws destined to be pushed around and used as minions until they die or evolve into a stronger demon. They are born of the souls of evil mortals too lazy or weak to actually do any meaningful damage in life.
Hundreds can be born from a single soul, and the only thing stopping them from overwhelming the cosmos is demons utter inability to cooperate in good faith.
