How do we prep for mutiny?

According to Besmara’s code, you don’t pull this shit while you’re at sea. Wait until we are in port (or Plugg gives us clear just cause) to set anything into motion.

The code is really more a set of guidelines. Kill Plugg while at sea and deal with any fallout. This will likely piss off Sandara, but she might get over it.

Why so confrontational? Plugg has no way of forcing us to stay and we will be going to two separate ports for this trip. If he tries to stop us, we deal with him then. It’s not like this will piss Harrigan off any more than a mutiny.

Drop Caulky from the party and see if that nerfs her. This definitely risks backfiring if she retains her new power level and the diplomatic scales are no longer tipped in Emrys’s favor.

Try to recruit Rowe. Emrys has some rapport with her, and she apparently knows how to use a gun. Don’t go crazy though, we don’t need her in the party.

Add Rowe to the party, replacing Owlbear unless Caulky got the boot.

Add Cog to the party, replacing Owlbear unless Caulky got the boot. If both Rowe and Cog are voted in as party members, there will be a follow up vote to see who is removed.

Try to summon an outsider or three that can murder Plugg in his sleep. This plays to Emrys’s strengths, but would be incredibly incriminating and seen as cowardly.

Murder Scourge in his sleep instead, ahead of Plugg. There is no way this doesn’t catalyze a bigger conflict, but that might allow Emrys to mutiny in “self defense.”

Try to recruit any level ones on the ship as followers. This will be a minority, but more friends are always good.

Try to learn more about what Plugg is actually capable of. That weird shark-man metamorphosis was a bit creepy. This may require sneaking into his room during the day and reading his books.
