Added 2024-02-04 12:21:40 +0000 UTCNo one knows why all known proteans, the outsiders of raw chaos, have a cohesive snakelike thematic to their forms. Wouldn’t it make more sense if they were formless, or at least wildly inconsistent across species?
The Proteans, for their part, have stated “Well obviously we all look like snakes,” and refused all further questioning on the subject on the grounds that it is “dumb and boring.”

Yup! Chaosnoodle is a bit of an asshole, but he’s cute and easily one of the safest things to summon once I had emrys roll offscreen knowledge checks on literally every known 3hd and lower outsider.
