June 5th to 10th Schedule and Poll
Added 2022-07-05 11:06:02 +0000 UTCSorry about not writing this yesterday, I was actually set to do it after publishing the chapter I was set on finishing Sunday and that I’m still working on.
Which kinda leads me to my review of last week’s “schedule,” loose as it was. At first blush, it was kind of a disaster, as I only managed to publish three of the things I wanted to write and work on the others without finishing them. The thing is, after taking a bit of a closer look… I actually wrote about 30k words.
A third of The Hobbit.
In a fricking week.
… I need to adjust my expectations.
That being said, here are my unrealistic expectations for this week!
- Tuesday: the second chapter of Puella Monstrum should be ready in a few hours, if the chaos that is my life doesn’t get in the way. This evening I’ll work either in rewriting a section of the latest Ginosko (Shaderic and I agreed the maid scene was a bit lackluster in its ending, as there was very little maid play in the section devoted to it) or in getting as much of Wake-up Call done as I can.
- Wednesday: finish whatever wasn’t done today between Ginosko and Wake-up Call. Work as much as realistically possible on Aril 17th.
- Thursday: All Right! Fine! I’ll Take you!
- Friday: April 17th.
- Saturday: breathe, sleep, and possibly even eat.
- Sunday: I’ll try to work either in the next Puella Monstrum or Ginosko chapters. I need to talk to the commissioners about it—Ginosko in particular was unduly delayed the past couple of months, and I feel bad about it.
All right, this is my new masochistic resolution that I’ll likely not live up to. And that’s a perfect segue into the poll section of this post:
Is this something you want to read?
On the one hand, I feel like being accountable to you all and accepting my failures while trying to learn from them is a valuable thing, on the other I can’t help but feel I’m kinda burdening you with too much oversharing and some unrealistic expectations when I say something will be written at a certain date and then I inevitably delay on it. Not to mention it must be uncomfortable to read my overly long explanations on why said delay came to pass.
So, no holds barred, I’m asking this seriously and precisely because I care about you: what do you think about my schedules and postmortems?
Remember: this is multi-choice.
