June 6th to 12th Schedule

All right, I think calling the past week an utter mess won’t be a surprise to anyone bothering to crosscheck what I post with what I say I’ll post. This time around, I’m sorry to say I’ve got no excuses, I’ve just been feeling particularly… unproductive. Batman stalled me a lot as I kept second-guessing what I’d already written and the tone, because, apparently, I’ve gotten so used to writing in the first person and present tense that writing a traditional, omniscient narrator in the past tense made my brain grind; Tangled Regrets fell victim to my impossible expectations and my urge to give it a proper ending despite not having properly planned for it, and Ginosko just, yet again, took the brunt of my shifting goals. Sorry to anybody looking forward to these last two—the Batman chapter is done, but I fear is more of a bridging chapter than I originally intended, and I’m open to suggestions on how to fix it.

As for this week’s schedule… Let’s go with this:

- Monday: Self Insert of the Dead. I think the concept I’ve got in mind is cool enough, so let’s see how I manage.

- Tuesday: Wake-up Call. The triumphant return of the Sapphic Duo, the Lesbian Crusaders, the Agrippa should’ve watched far less Adam West while growing up!

- Wednesday: I’m a bit unsure about this one. I think I’ll go for Periodical Cicadas, but, if my humor organs are up to par, maybe I’ll write the Konosuba chapter.

- Thursday: All Right! Fine! I’ll Take You! This time around, we’ll just go with the pretty much obvious Round Two: Fight!

- Friday: Ginosko. Ginosko is very much needed at this point, if only to get the chapter out of my brain.

- Saturday: Have a social life? Maybe? I don’t make any promises.

- Sunday: Tangled Regrets. I hope a week of rest will let me tackle it with a better mindset.

And, well, that’s about it. As usual, this is a bit aspirational, as it seems my brain’s still catching up on what it’s supposed to do now that he’s no longer in one life-critical situation after another. I guess he misses having a clear purpose, the little sweetheart…
