what I'm working on

I got back from my tour last summer and got to work on new music soon after. as usual the songs were intended as a loose set of singles, but as I continued working I realized they worked well as a new EP. fast forward a couple months and the length ended up going past that of an EP.

So I've decided this will be my first proper "full length" album. Mondo zone, nelward 1-4 don't really count as they are compilations of songs that were released on an individual basis not intended to be heard together.

I thought I would have been done with it now, but one year later I'm still working on it. The TWRP tours, making music videos, and forming the live band ended up taking more time than expected. I actually only got back to work on it earlier this month! We are looking at a 35-40 minute runtime for the album.

It will probably not be released this year as I have some more releases ready to go and want to focus on getting my live band up and running. The album has a pretty focused theme - it definitely feels like nelward in "dark mode". And there's also plenty of new jack swing on the album.

My goal with these songs was to make the most unique music I could possibly make.
