Dating Sim game: Smooth Finish devlog#3

New month, new blogpost.

It's February now and a certain day is coming, so I'm committing most of the work on this project for this month.

Of course, the other games and content are also still in development (Pearly's Salon 0.5 features are still being worked on)

Anyways, this is about the progress for Smooth Finish

As of now, the sprites for the main girls are (not counting the counter NPC girl) complete, altho Andii is the one who got her variations almost complete.

For now we're mostly working on Andii's route for now, so I can configure out the best way how to progress.

Move a bit to the left and you got somewhat of a lobby area, nothing much important here, maybe needs more furnishing.

The main workout room, while not very populated or well equipped as how a gym should be, but more of that will be added eventually.

For now it's good enough for me.

This is where Andii and Bea will be most of the time, and also where your protagonist also can train 2 his main physical stats, running and lifting.

Further on the west side is the indoor swimming pool, Charlotte will be here mainly, and this is also a place to train your swimming.

For now, I have no plans to let players jump off that diving board.

As of now, I'm redoing exercise "minigames" that I had made last year to make it more rewarding to play, but also to give an option to just auto with random/guaranteed results

Oh yeah, what's a gym without a place to wash away the sweat? there will be a special interaction here too if certain conditions are met

Anyways, on to the main meat of the game, the interaction with the romantic interests

I have managed to actually implemented the UI as I conceptualized in the last blog, and I am rather happy how it turns out so far.

For now the actual functions is not yet complete, because the texts are still WIP, and perhaps if I managed to released the demo this month, it might reach to a certain point.

Just FYI, this will be a totally different game than I had made before, unlike Pearly's Salon and Spybreak, but its still pretty much gonna be what you'll expect of a Pearly Moon project, just a bit of a slow burn game, but I hope its just as worth it coz making a Dating Sim is a new experience to me.

The full layout of the gym, if anybody get the reference of the Gym's name, lemme know, haha.
