So many molds!
Added 2024-01-19 16:16:18 +0000 UTCWanted to update y’all on how the resin computer is going! I mentioned in the last post that Evan made a custom shelf for our big pressure pot (Max) and the reason for that is because we have a LOT of molds to make… 8 to be exact! We disassembled the computer (which was a bit more nerve wracking than expected… I thought we’d just like remove acrylic panels from a frame but NO, we had to totally take apart the whoooollle computer).
But once disassembled, we had all 8 pieces that we could clean and place in Evan’s mold boxes he had made.
Even with Evan’s custom shelf, we still had to do it in 2 batches because only 4 molds could fit at once. Half of them cured overnight and today we had some nice looking molds! Now to do the other half. -Katelyn
