Added 2023-11-14 16:50:56 +0000 UTCHey guys! We’re finally doing part 2 of a series we’ve been wanting to continue since… wow since a year ago. We’re gonna try making more of your “bad” DIY ideas! There were so many ideas submitted last time that we wanted to tackle but didn’t have time for, so we’re doing them now :)
The first one is “hammer shoes,” for doing things like nailing into a deck so that you don’t have to keep bending over. Other than that it was left pretty open ended. So we decided to make a full metal plate that could be attached to the bottom of my shoe.
I won’t spoil how it turned out but I will say it was violent haha. The next idea was “fixing holes in clothes with resin” so we staged a few (un)common workplace accidents that might cause holes in your shirts and tried to fix them with resin. This one was a MUCH bigger fail than we expected haha.
The last one is making a table with mannequin legs - which to me, is just the right amount of cursed haha. Excited to share this video soon! -Katelyn

The layered shirt idea and then making a bowl wasn't a bad idea, evan. That would be Micarta. Im honestly shocked you haven't done a micarta project. Since people use paper, cloth, all types of micarta all the time. Usually for knife handles..but I just saw a channel do an entire table and Carve it for the layers. Johnny builds I beleive was the channel.
