We’re testing some VERY unconventional tools…

Hey guys! I’m not sure how many of y’all might remember, but back in the day we did a decent amount of concrete projects, and we have an idea we wanna tackle (hopefully later this year!) that may involved concrete, but we thought we’d try to first solve one of the biggest issues we always had with concrete: bubbles.

So we’re kinda doing a fusion of “Testing Weird Gadgets” mixed with “Cheap vs Expensive” to try a few ways of vibrating out bubbles in concrete. The first is pretty straightforward - a vibrating table. It’s expensive, but it’s used pretty commonly for concrete, plaster, even chocolate.

Next we have this GIANT vibrating wand of sorts typically used for large volumes of concrete… but maybe it’ll work on smaller volumes too? This is our mid-priced option. It is SO large, heavy, and unwieldy. I can’t even imagine how difficult it’ll be when we turn it on…

And last we have the most… unconventional… concrete vibrator. We were like man, the giant vibrating tool would be really nice if it was tiny, what other small vibrating tool could we find that’s tiny, waterproof, and not that expensive… and yeah we bought a “personal vibrator” to test on concrete. Let’s all hope YouTube doesn’t demonetize us for this one haha -K
