Our newest keyboard is done!
Added 2023-05-16 17:47:13 +0000 UTCWE DID IT and wow it’s been a MARATHON. Before I reveal the final keyboard (spoiler alert btw) let me just appreciate our new pressure pot friend for a second.
He is MASSIVE and we got him so we can put larger items in there to get their bubbles compressed… in this specific case, our keyboard frame/base/case/whatever you wanna call it!
We made a keyboard silicone mold and filled it with white iridescent resin to match the letter keys. We went with white (instead of a color) because the keyboard has rainbow LEDs and we wanted them to look nice no matter what color was cycling through.
When we demolded it and Evan assembled the keyboard, here’s how it turned out!
Honestly I’m soooooo glad we took the time to carve all the keys, even though it was a pain in the butt haha. Can’t wait to share the full video with all the details, twists, and turns! -Katelyn

Cool man. Looks neat, like a rad 80's toy. Yep could've been on a totally gnarly commercial. It would have kids doing the Bill & Ted 'No way' reaction when it lights up lol.
