I used the glass grinder!!!

So I was a little intimidated by the thought of grinding the glass down. How hard would it be to hold all my tiny pieces? Would it be super messy? Would I be able to get the precision I wanted? Would the glass chip? All in all, turns out it was not too difficult to do everything I wanted to do. I just took a long time haha.

But I was able to eXeCuTe mY vIsIoN! Look at how nicely that all fits together now!

Also, turns out soldering was easier than I feared too! (are you noticing a theme?) I’ve never soldered before, but after a few practice pieces I got the hang of it pretty well! It’s definitely a little awkward in terms of how you have to hold the soldering iron and the solder (it partially blocked my vision… maybe I was doing it wrong though haha).

Oh yeah that reminds me, when Evan tried the solder and flux that came with the expensive kit, it worked perfectly on his piece too. So turns out the solder and flux of the cheap kit were the culprits indeed. He’ll explain his theory why in the video, but it has to do with danger haha -Katelyn
