So as y’all know, due to the results of the sacred “cheap vs expensive” rock paper scissors match, Evan got the cheap kit and I got the expensive kit. Not gonna lie - the expensive kit is a *little* intimidating. I mean just look at all the stuff it came with!

One of the biggest differences between the two kits is that with this one, I can cut the glass to be whatever design I want. So… I designed a loaf cat.

The cutting of the glass was both easier and harder than expected. Like, when you have plenty of glass on either side of the cut it snaps super well. When there’s just a small amount on one side of the cut, it doesn’t come off in one piece and it’s a bit of a pain. And I was trying to be super efficient with my glass usage since the kit only came with so much, so I had a lot of cuts with just a sliver to break off.
Oh well, that part’s done now (though I still need to use the grinder later - eek!) Anyways, look at my loaf! And I know, I know, it’s not a void cat so it’s not Joob. I was trying to stick with colors that came with the kit. -Katelyn
