Flannel Shirt BTS (vip)
Added 2024-04-17 22:44:48 +0000 UTCIt looks simple, but this is a big deal: I finally made a buttondown shirt that fits me correctly. (Shown here without the buttons because I'm excited to share and I dont want to wait.) This is a task I've been failing at for 15+ years. I think all my practice on the tiki shirts made a difference - with the shirtmaking skills out of the way I could focus on the fit and tweak the pattern until I liked it. Just in time to need a flannel shirt for Michigan!

Oh I am aware. Those of you who are particularly endowed have the issue of wearing a button shirt way to big or have to deal with button strain over the bust. If anyone can figure it out it is the Master Seamstress, HCL. You may want to patent the design because there is likely a huge market for that fashion fix in womenβs apparel. I love the flannel pattern. It seems so comfy and so do the colors.
