1 Million Glitters
Added 2021-01-07 16:28:50 +0000 UTCOk we can't contain it - for our 1M sub special we're making a custom 1M Play Button Award with 1 million pieces of glitter! I won't give away what the pile looks like (though I will admit, I was surprised!) but I will share something I'm very proud of - our devised way of counting them. We measured out 1/32 of a tsp and counted all the glitters in that scoop by using our tiny clay-molding silicone tools (that we got for the space Joob keycap embed) to pick up one glitter at a time, then placing them on grids with double sticky tape (10 per grid). It was so oddly relaxing and satisfying just sitting there, counting individual glitters, listening to podcasts together. -K

I'm not familiar but we actually calculated that if we did nothing but eat, sleep, and count glitter, it would take us about 2 weeks to count 1M -K

In one issue the main character curses a pursuing henchman to be unable to follow them until he has counted out 3 million grains of sand at a nearby beach. _Exactly_. Let's just say he takes a while... I hope your attempt was not quite as grueling!
