Underwater live stream

Ok guys, we've taken on a really big project. We've actually been working on it for weeks already, and we have just a few days left til it happens. We're gonna attempt to do a live stream fully underwater. We haven't announced this yet because we still don't know exactly what day the stream will be, but we have a bunch of specialized underwater audio equipment rented for a window of time so it'll be happening soon. If anyone was in Thursday's Minecraft live stream, this project is what the onslaught of packages being delivered was for. We've never spent so much or ordered so many items for a project haha.

 So why did we take this on? It's something Evan came up with sorta as a "wouldn't it be crazy if we did this?" idea, but he realized we COULD actually make it happen. He's built up all this knowledge about streaming equipment since we got on Twitch, plus back when he worked as an engineer he often dealt with systems under pressure, so he was confident he could figure out how to build some waterproof contraptions (spoiler, we're modifying a vacuum chamber to be water right). 

We're using a mixture of some equipment that is not meant to be in water (hence the sealed box), some equipment that is waterproof, and some insane stuff like the audio-capable masks they use to film Shark Week! 

I'll admit, I've kinda just been "along for the ride" for this project since streaming and engineering are his areas of expertise, but I've been figuring out how to film and document this weeks-long process and make it interesting (since a lot of it is technical trouble shooting - not the most exciting). So we're focusing on practical tests (like taking things to the pool beforehand) and building (like the box). 

We're partway through the filming/editing of it and so far I've gotta say it's coming together! Also, Joob is loving all the new boxes from our deliveries.  

So for the next week or so, we won't be on social media or patreon as much because it's crunch time and we've got rental windows and sponsor deadlines. But at least during this crazy rush, we'll be spending some time at Evan's parents' pool 😂 <3 Katelyn
