Material tests!
Added 2020-04-04 16:16:19 +0000 UTCWell guys we've narrowed down our diffusion materials to a handful of options so we experimented with all these different combos and narrowed it down to *drumroll....*
...Mystery plastic underneath, black painted MDF for the letters, and polypropylene diffusion on top!
The black really hides the letters well when they're unlit, and you get nice contrast when they are lit up. So I feel like now we have a pretty solid plan to move forward with... but before we do I gotta figure out how to edit all the experimenting footage into something concise and understandable haha.
