BOOK CART!

Someone in Michigan gave me an old library cart for my project there which is VERY exciting (I needed one but these fuckers cost $480 plus delivery). I have two in storage in Florida but they're so heavy it's almost cheaper to buy a new one than to ship them 😬

Anyway it's old so it needed to be refinished of course. Someone else sanded it down for me so that I could spray paint it and the weather cooperated last night for me to work outdoors.

Then I met the nice policeman whose area this is because when he saw me in the parking lot in the middle of the night he was like "um hai wut doing" which makes me feel better about security since there's been a lot of late nights here.

Since it's Michigan the entire encounter was just a nice friendly chat about my project. I was very amused when he said "you're so well lit I knew you couldn't be shady" and I think the pun was unintentional 😆

But now I really want one of these fancy tripod worklights from Milwaukee (I borrowed the one that belongs to my friend Jim). They are apparently very expensive though. :/
