Bra pattern update

The good news: IT WORKED i have a viable bra sewing pattern and I have many many photos to show you from this week. Once they are all edited, I'll do a longer post, and explain what I did (which was not standard lingerie sewing)

I've just seen the bras of some of the girls with absolutely massive implants, and I started to wonder at which point, if any, you need to start substantially redesigning things. Perhaps I'm thinking too much into it, but it was a curious thought! Thanks for the reply.

2023-05-31 05:41:44 +0000 UTCHonestly at any size a bra is an engineering problem - it's just that the smaller sizes are "already solved" so to speak and so most companies copy that same style /basic design , if that makes sense

2023-05-31 03:49:36 +0000 UTCJust out of curiosity, when you construct supportive garments like this, do you have to consider a lot of extra structure because of their weight? Like, at what size does a bra stop being a clothing problem and start becoming more of an engineering problem?
