2023-11-17 13:52:10 +0000 UTCI do some simple guidelines on occasion and it's mostly just for placement of the character before sketching the keyframes. For this one, I just had a quick sketch of the general shape of the head, a couple lines on the head, and then a simple shape for the body to help with keeping on model. I had this sketch on a separate layer which I hid before exporting this. For the most part I just eye most of it during the inbetweens, kind of guessing where things go and edit them along the way to make it look better. I could've done a timelapse video of this to better show what I'm trying to explain, but I don't currently have a recording software on my Ipad haha

2023-11-17 08:59:30 +0000 UTCI’m honestly curious about your animation process. Do you use many guidelines? I tend to sketch the whole body for each frame, rather than just the guidelines. It gives me a better idea of the character’s form while animating
