Trying our hand at ocean resin!
Added 2019-07-10 16:05:24 +0000 UTCAhhh! We did it! It's been a crazy couple days (this project had to be super rushed to finish in time, and resin only dries so fast haha).
Been wanting to try to beach/ocean resin we see all over Instagram and Pinterest (if you wanna see a bunch of super awesome work, check out @crocreekdesigns on IG). Really happy with how it turned out!
Y'all might have seen our photo with all the slabs (where we wanted to buy all of them of course). I'm usually drawn to darker wood, but since we wanted it to look like a beach, that's why we got something lighter. This was cypress (from a tree that fell in Houston!) and it was our first time working with it.
HOPEFULLY this will be Friday's video. It all depends on sponsor approval, and it's a big sponsor (Old Spice) which is really exciting but also means more corporate hoops to jump through. Cross your fingers for us guys!
