Mini Vlog 15 - Vlog about Vlogs (and stuff)
Added 2018-12-10 15:13:08 +0000 UTCHey guys! Despite telling ourselves we were gonna slow down in December and only do 3 videos, we're planning on...6-7. Oy! But some of them are more casual bonus videos, and we're kinda brain dumping about that in this mini vlog. We're curious about y'alls thoughts because Wwe love doing project videos but we had a LOT of fun doing some behind the scenes more vloggy-type stuff too. But we're worried it's gonna turn people off because it's not project-based stuff.
Also we got a green screen! It's for the podcast mostly (we want to upload videos for each episode and were inspired by the Jenna+Julien podcast to have a little green screen fun).

Yup, using OBS! It definitely didn't work on my normal laptop, but my engineering laptop handled it just fine haha

2018-12-11 16:38:26 +0000 UTCWhat software were you guys using to record with the chroma screen? If it's OBS you've got to fiddle with settings until you can get it recording right. Mainly getting the right bit rate, and setting it to use your GPU to encode. Also, I think the vlog idea is great! but like Daniel said, we may be biased...lol

I've been wanting to record some of my projects (not that I really want to put them online, but it seems handy to record stuff in case I get partway through and forget how I did something). If there's a good camera that doesn't cost as much as a cheap used car, that might make it a more reasonable option.
