Hey Nick, that actually makes us really happy to hear! It's way easier to just be ourselves and show mistakes rather than try to pretend like everything is perfect. Of course, some stuff we leave out just for the sake of making a concise video, but it's nice not to feel like everything has to be perfect. $5 at a time support makes a BIG difference by the way and we really appreciate it! -K

Great job E&K Don't take this the wrong way but I love the fact you show stuff not going to plan rather than edit to a perfect video, give me more confidence to try it and less shame when I have to fix small mistakes. This was the first video I saw my name on, had a little pang of pride for helping out $5 at a time.

For real! This stuff takes sooooo long (sometimes we are quite envious of people whose hobbies are less time consuming haha). Also for us personally, when we watch a maker video we're watching more because we like the person making it and we wanna see what they're up to, not so much because we're interested in the build itself, and I think having some time reference makes you feel like you're there with them a little bit more. -K

Cat Bed for April Fool's +1 I like the idea of adding in something that shows project time in relation to actual time. I know from first hand experience that people expect me to be able to make them a product super fast and don't understand why I tell them it takes longer than the time frame they expect me to be able to complete it in. I think part of that is a lack of understanding of the process in whole and part is because everyone watches a 10 minute video without any reference to how long it actually took for the creator to make the project. Also, thanks for the nugget about the video edit. Now that I know what is I can look up how to do it myself if needed. As always, great build and video. Thanks!
