Thank you!! Haha yeah that plug being on the wall was something we shooouuuuld have foreseen but... somehow missed it haha. Luckily cutting the hole wasn't that bad. But yes!! I'm glad the companies we work with don't mind us showing the mistakes and showing that not everything is perfect... you're right, if you only see a project go a TV-perfect way, and then you try and something goes wrong, you'll feel like giving up. Hopefully showing the mistakes shows that it can still turn out ok in the end :) We don't know what to do with the photos yet but most of them are already digital so at least there's that! -K

2018-10-13 03:21:25 +0000 UTCGreat video! I love Katelyn's face at 7:20 when you realize you will have to make a very unscheduled hole in the back to accommodate the plug. You just know she wants to say something more than "shoot" at that point :-) Seriously, Lowes (or Home Depot or any other store) would never create such a video. Theirs would be picture perfect from beginning to end and invite you to do the same. But you just know it will not be that easy and you decide to hire someone or (more likely) not do it all. It's so much fun to watch someone else like you take it on and somehow overcome all the inevitable obstacles. Lowes is lucky to have you. ...and I hope you found a place for all the photos? It's a pain to digitize them if they are paper only, but years from now you'll be glad you did.
